A Science education production company
Reverie Productions is devoted to using a STEAM approach and community collaboration to produce a new type of media to encourage science literacy among people of all ages and backgrounds. This currently includes the development of educational videos, biodiversity trails, and STEAM presentations. These media will be produced by working with teachers and business owners to draw connections between core scientific knowledge and its application in our daily lives.
What is STEAM education?
STEAM stands for “science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.” In STEAM education, the arts are combined with the sciences, which can be a powerful combination for enhancing science education. Incorporating photography, graphic art, music, poetry, and other art into science education adds depth and increases enjoyment. This approach is a key element of exhibit design in popular science museums like the ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain in Burlington, VT.

what is the deal with the sandhill cranes?
Founder Steve Schenk adores sandhill cranes. He also has a thing for a particular cartoon squirrel. Honestly? Kinda wierd. We just roll with it.
Reverie Productions is inspired by and named in honor of Steve and Angela Schenk’s middle child.
His life story is our origin story.
