What is a biodiversity trail?

Schenk’s first biodivertsity trail — the Wilton Simpson Citrus Campus Biodiversity Trail at the College of Central Florida’s campus in Lecanto, FL. The second one will walk you through the process of desgining a biodiversity trail for your classroom, school, business, or park.

During the 2025-26 school year, we worked with Vermont Farm and Forest School to create a biodiversity trail at their campus at Drift Farmstead in Roxbury, VT. While the physical exhibits for this ongoing project have not yet been installed, you can check out the digital content created by the students and edited by Reverie Productions by visiting the VFFS Biodiversity Trail home page.

(Note: The digital portion of this project is also still under construction!)
