Northfield Farmers’ market
Beginning on May 19, 2026, we’ll be at the Northfield Farmers’ Market! Come enjoy STEAM fun for all ages between 3pm and 6pm at the Northfield Town Common, every Tuesday thru October 13.
Each week features new activities, all of which are free for Market-goers to enjoy!
Each week will feature a new STEAM presentation giving you the chance to learn about a different topic in biology, participate in art activities, and receive free science giveaways.
So far this summer we’ve played with sea shells, learned about sea otters, used a digital microscope, and removed DNA from strawberries! And there’s lots more science and art fun coming through October!

While we don’t charge anything for our activities, that doesn’t mean we don’t have expenses. You can support our work by purchasing our nature-themed art. We currently offer four 1.5” Vermont-themed stickers and two Vermont-themed 11” x 17”. We’ll also soon be offering limited copy photo art. All of these items can be purchased at our market booth.
